“O Laboratório Central do Ceará (Lacen) confirmou o diagnóstico de raiva humana no garoto de nove anos, internado no hospital e Maternidade São Vicente de Paulo, no município de Barbalha, no interior do Ceará….”

The boy was admitted to hospital with symptoms of fever, vomiting and
restlessness. The 1st suspicion was
meningitis, but the diagnosis changed when the family stated that the
boy had been bitten by a marmoset

“NATO’S most senior commander was at the centre of a major security alert when a series of his colleagues fell for a fake Facebook account opened in his name – apparently by Chinese spies.

“Senior British military officers and Ministry of Defence officials are understood to have been among those who accepted “friend requests” from the bogus account for American Admiral James Stavridis.

They thought they had become genuine friends of Nato’s Supreme Allied Commander – but instead every personal detail on Facebook, including private email addresses, phone numbers and pictures were able to be harvested….”

Electrical failure in a moving ambulance

Program: UAB Critical Care Transport
1201 11th Ave. South, 6N�
Birmingham, AL  35205

Model: Chevy 4500 by Excellance Inc.

Type: Type III

Weather: Raining heavily

Road: Wet

Team: Driver, Nurse, and Respiratory Therapist. No injuries reported.

Description:
While driving on the interstate en route to pick up a patient, the
ambulance experienced an electrical failure affecting the engine,
lights, power brakes and power steering.  The driver successfully
steered the ambulance off the interstate.  No injuries occurred and
another unit was sent to continue the trip.  The truck was taken out
of service and sent to the dealership for diagnostic testing where a
computer issue was found and corrected. It has since been returned to
service.
